Welcome to the Challenge
Many self-suspenders take their inspiration from partnered ties, but knowing what can be adapted and how can be a tricky part of your learning journey. This challenge starts with some tips and tricks specifically for self-suspenders, and ends with two partnered suspensions that will progressively challenge your adaptation skills.
Before you begin
Safety
Comfort with locking uplines, and experience in self suspension. Always have a spotter around. For your safety, read through the following considerations before attempting the final classes. If possible, always do your self-suspensions under the in-person supervision of a trusted instructor. You can find a local studio in our Studio Directory. If attempting this outside of a rope studio environment, have another person available to assist in case of an emergency.
