Gestalta's 'Kata-Ashi' transition sequence masterclass.
In this course Gestalta teaches one of their self-developed show routines with their model Evitrii. This challenging transition sequence starts with a dynamic transition from a face-down to a Kata-Ashi position (one leg up vertical suspension) and evolves into a total of seven positions. The 'Fast Futo' and 'Half-Basket Tie' used by Gestalta in this sequence are taught in separate videos and should be practiced and mastered before studying the full transition class. The sequence and harnesses can be modified to suit your partner's needs and preferences or according to your own style and creativity. We recommend watching the full sequence class thoroughly before practicing yourself. The last demo video showcases the same sequence without talking. It is useful for inspiration or to see Gestalta tie with flow and to remember the order of all positions and transitions after you have studied the class with full explanations. *Captions available for this series: English
This is a level 4 course that requires significant previous suspension experience from both the person tying and the person being tied. We always suggest learning new sequences with the support of a spotter or with the supervision of a qualified instructor. As rope crosses the arms in this course, we suggest the person being tied be familiar with how to check their hands for signs of nerve compression.
