Members only4 weeksSuspension Study: Face Up
This challenge is designed for riggers and bottoms in the early days of their suspension practice when support, stability and sustainability matter most. If you’ve already been learning suspendable harnesses, using inanimate objects to develop upline skills, and can confidently communicate with your tying partner on the floor and in partials, this one is for you. It is all about guiding you towards that first face-up suspension: think safety, drills and skills, and the perfect hands-front harness for achieving lift-off.
Members only4 weeksSuspension Study: Side Suspension
This challenge is specially curated for riggers and bottoms who are ready to start exploring suspension, in other words, those who have already been learning suspendable harnesses, practicing tying uplines with inanimate objects, and practicing clear communication in floorwork and partials. From safety to skills and drills, it will help you do the groundwork to get your shibari practice airborne. We curated it for you to return to and learn from slowly and gradually. Make time to learn the information but also to develop habits around practicing rope regularly. If the harnesses are unfamiliar, drill them and lab them till they go on with great tension and flow. If uplines aren’t in your muscle memory, don’t move on until you feel more confident. The final video is there for you when you both feel excited, not nervous, about the challenge.
